Paton-Churdan played its last home match of the high school volleyball season on Tuesday night in Churdan. Coach Makayla Sparr’s Rockets fell in three sets to CAM (Anita) by scores of 20-25, 13-25, 13-25. The loss was the seventh in a row for the Rockets who are now 2-7, 0-6, after they started the season with a pair of victories. The Cougars are 4-1 in league play and 5-12 overall.

Coach Sparr reports sophomore Alivya Smith had 11 digs and five kills to lead the Rockets in both categories. Sophomore Ella Tasler had one ace serve.

P-C has a trip to Coon Rapids to face Coon Rapids-Bayard tomorrow night.
