The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football team is looking to end Homecoming Week with a victory, as Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch discusses the focus ahead of Friday’s matchup.

The Tigers will be hosting the winless Des Moines North Polar Bears for their electrifying Homecoming game on Friday. ADM had an impressive showing this past Friday as they beat Boone 49-27 in Adel. In that game, Tigers Quarterback Hudson Shull rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns, and the defense was able to garner three takeaways on interceptions. Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch continues to push the narrative of narrowing down the mistakes.

“We really got some things that we need to clean up on both sides of the ball and special teams. We’re going to focus on that, we’re going to keep the pressure on these guys all week to stay focus. Homecoming is wonderful from the standpoint that we’re going to get a ton of kids involved in a bunch of different activities, and I love that part of it, but then we’ll stress all week that when it comes times to practice, and game-time, we got to turn off the noise and play our best football.”

Winkowitsch does want students to enjoy themselves during the week with the amount of activities and fun dress up days planned, but also lock in prior to the start of the action on the field. The Homecoming game will kick off from Adel Friday night at 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 6pm.
