The Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Iowa is being joined by some local businesses in Adair for their Harvest Meals fundraiser.

Executive Director Heather Schneider says that they are excited to continue this fundraiser. She mentions that as a non-profit organization, fundraisers like this one allow them to keep costs to a minimum, allowing members to participate. The Boys and Girls Club will make deliveries in Adair at 11am, 11:30am, noon and 12:30pm, and in Casey at the Casey Community Building at 11:30am and 12:30pm. Schneider explains that delivery orders need to be made by Wednesday for each week.

All meals will come with a main dish, side, cookie/bar for dessert and a bottle of water. Next Friday is the first Harvest Meal, with the main dish to be scalloped potatoes and ham. On October 11th the meal will include brisket mac and cheese, while on October 18th it will be cowboy casserole, and the final meal on October 25th is chicken and noodles.
