A Scranton man was recently arrested for an alleged domestic assault.

According to court documents, an investigation began on September 20th when the victim stated that 26-year-old Dalton Weber asked to have sexual intercourse in the garage of his home in Scranton. Court documents show that the victim refused and then they left in his truck and went to the Scranton Pond. The victim alleges that their vape device and cell phone were taken by Weber, and the cell phone service was disabled.

The criminal complaint states that the victim was reaching over to the driver’s seat for their vape device when Weber pushed the victim’s head against the steering wheel which caused injuries to the victim’s lip and eye. When originally questioned, Weber denied the assault occurred. Following the investigation, it was determined that the injuries were consistent with the victim’s accounts and Weber was the aggressor.

Weber was then arrested later that day and charged with a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for domestic abuse assault. He was booked into the Greene County Jail and a no contact order was placed with the victim. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
