Garbor Bobek, Bellevue, Neb, was traveling on I80 near the 110 mile marker, when he ran into the back of a semi driven by Mowlid Jama, Omaha, Neb. Mr. Bobek declined medical attention. Mr. Jama was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Damage to Mr. Bobek’s car was estimated at $17500. Damage to the semi was estimated at $1500. Mr. Bobek received a citation for Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance.
Sept. 24th
Ronald Jarboe, Minburn, was traveling on W Ave when he ran through the intersection of 190th Street and crashed. Mr. Jarboe was taken to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Damage was estimated at $7000. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Mr. Jarboe was cited for Open Container, Failure To Obey Traffic Control Device and Failure To Maintain A Reasonable and Proper Speed.
A minor driver was on West 4th Street in Woodward when the driver ran a stop sign and ran into a vehicle driven by Luopu Gbelewala, Johnston. The minor driver was checked by EMS and refused treatment. Ms. Gbelewala was transported to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Ms. Gbelewala’s car received an estimated $10000 damage. The minor’s car received an estimated $15400 damage. Both cars were towed from the scene. The minor driver received a citation for Failure To Obey Traffic Control Device.
Rodney Raygor, Jefferson, was traveling on Hwy 141 at 150th St, when he swerved to miss a deer and went into the ditch and struck a stop sign. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Damage to his vehicle was estimated at $20000. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
