Photos belong to the Stuart Police Department

The Stuart Police Department is asking for the public’s help to track down a person of interest.

According to the Stuart PD, an unidentified man was in the Dollar General Store, along the 100 Block of Northeast 2nd Street, in Stuart on Saturday between 7:45-8pm when he allegedly stole a purse containing financial items as well as personal information. The department states that they have surveillance video of the alleged man, and says that they believe he left the store in a 4-door Sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala or similar. 

The department is asking anyone with information to come forward by contacting either through Facebook or by calling the Guthrie County Sheriff Dispatch at (641)-747-2214.
