The final farmer’s market of the season is coming up soon in the community of Perry, as Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti looks back to see how far the event has come.

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the 2024 season has been a good one as it served as a snapshot of the expansion there’s been over the last six years since she started. She expresses that more families came out to enjoy the activities with Iowa PBS Kids as well as the monthly themed events. Pasutti is happy that new vendors continue to stop by each year and she takes a moment to show her gratitude.

“Thanks for everyone for coming out, we’ll just have one more market of the season, so if you missed out, make sure to mark it on your calendar for Thursday (from) 4-7pm right downtown 2nd Street.”

Pasutti reveals that the chamber will release a survey following the last farmer market this coming Thursday for people to review the aspects that worked well and things that can be improved on. Perry’s Farmer’s Market happens on 2nd Street from 4-7pm.
