Perry cross country was in action last night in Panora.  It was a highly competitive meet with 20 schools in attendance.  The Jayettes finished in 8th while the Bluejays didn’t qualify in the team portion.  On the girls side, Perry was led by Lily Myers.  The sophomore ran a time of 21:56.10.  Taryn Nehring had the next best time for the Jayettes at 24:53.00.  That was for 30th place.   The guys top performer were Aidan Carlson.  The senior finished in 36th with a time of 20:25.50

Next up for Perry is the PCM Cross Country Invite in Monroe on Monday.  That is one of two coed meets for Perry next week.
