The AC/GC Chargers football team is currently 3-0 on the season, and is one of the top ranked teams in Class A.

Looking at the team’s statistics, senior quarterback Jathan South has the most touchdowns, with eight, while junior Joe Crawford is next in line with five, and senior Mike Fuller has three. Crawford also leads the team in all purpose yards with 394, while South is next up with 343 and Fuller rounds out the top three with 324 yards.

South is the team’s passing leader as their starting quarterback, completing 10 of 12 attempts for 201 yards, four touchdowns and one interception, for a quarterback passing rating of 317.4. Fuller is the rushing leader for the Chargers, with 324 yards on 45 carries for three touchdowns, the longest of which was 17 yards. Senior Payton Policky is the receiving leader for AC/GC, with 68 yards on four receptions and a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, junior Xander Harwood leads in total tackles with 18, which breaks down to 11 solo tackles and five tackles for a loss of yards. Senior Ben Franzeen and junior Brexton Schneider are next on the list, tied for second with 12 total tackles each, and South and Crawford are tied for the next spot with 11 tackles apiece. Policky is the only player with a fumble recovery, while Crawford, Schnieder, junior Thomas Skram and South are all tied for interceptions with each hauling in one.

Franzeen leads in kick returns with two returns, while fellow seniors Taytum Bates and Eli Madsen both have a return as well. Crawford and South both have one punt return, with Crawford returning his for 20 yards, and South returning his for nine yards.
