Perry football will host Storm Lake this Friday night.  The homecoming game could be filled with a lot of points.  Perry has scored 65 points through the first 3 games while Storm Lake has scored 90.  The Bluejay defense has surrendered 63 points in the first third of the year compared to the Tornadoes 120 points.  Perry head coach, Josh Vannornam, on the Storm Lake offense.  “They pass the ball a lot.  I think I’m a little more confident in our pass defense than we saw last year.”  The game last year was a track meet finishing with Storm Lake winning 56-31.  “We gotta make sure to rotate guys in and out.  Mindful of that because you’re running routes every single play kids get gas and making sure we have fresh legs.  That’s kind of the mindset for defense this week.”

The Bluejays enter the contest at 2-1 and Storm Lake is 1-2.  The final non district game is Friday night at Dewey Field.  The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network and KDLS will have the broadcast at 6P with the Perry Hy-Vee Pregame Show.
