The Adel Public Library is holding an exciting program revolving around a classic Nintendo character tomorrow.

The library is doing Mario Party: In Real Life for students in second to fifth grade. Adel Library Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz outlines the premise of the themed day.

“Mario party obviously has some pretty classic minigames in it, and you collect stars and it’s a really fun video game, so I wanted to try and translate that to kiddos who are maybe playing the same game that I played when I was a kid.”

Schwarz admits that this was an idea she had after she finished playing one night and knew that kids would enjoy seeing the games come to life. She shares that her favorite Mario character is Monty Mole. The program is a registered event that will be held tomorrow from 4-5:30pm inside the Adel Library. To register, click here.
