The Perry City Council is set to meet in regular session tonight.
The council will review a pay application for the Automated Weather Observing System project. Other items on the agenda seeking approval at tonight’s meeting include two separate contracts for the Upper Story Housing Conversion Grant, pay applications for phases two and three for the Runway 14/32 Relocation project at the Perry Municipal Airport, and a referendum to increase the Dallas County Board Membership from three to five.
Additional items on the agenda pertain to tax abatement applications for residential construction completed in 2024, a resolution authorizing the sale of unused and outdated equipment, authorizing the donation of unused equipment, and a resolution for a program fee agreement for the Rural Housing Readiness Assessment Program. The meeting is taking place tonight at 6pm inside the Towncraft Building, 1122 Willis Avenue, in Perry. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the results of the meeting tomorrow.
