The AC/GC Chargers football team continues its regular season win streak.

The Chargers faced off against the Panorama Panthers in Panora Friday night, and came away with a big 42-11 victory. The Panthers started off with the ball, but turned it over on downs. The Chargers then made a march down the field, but turned the ball over as well. It wasn’t long though, and the team had possession back, and finished the first quarter up 7-0. Right after the start of the second quarter though, the Panthers booted in a long field goal, making the score 7-3.

AC/GC turned on the boosters in the second quarter though, and by halftime they were up 21-3. The team put up another touchdown in the third quarter, and then tacked on another two in the fourth to go up 42-3, before Panorama hauled in a touchdown reception and punched in the two point conversion to make it a 42-11 game with 4:25 left in the game. No more scoring was had after that, and the Chargers recorded their third win of the season.

The Crafty’s Coffee Players of the Game were Joe Crawford on offense due to raking in over 100 yards and three touchdowns, while Xander Harwood made his third straight appearance as the defensive player of the game along with Brexton Schnieder for a combined 17 tackles that they were a part of. The Chargers return to action next Friday as they take on the South Central Calhoun Titans on Homecoming night.
