The Panorama Panthers football team was in search of their first win of the season as they hosted the ACGC Chargers, but fell short to the Chargers 42-11. Both teams would score in the first quarter, but the Chargers would have the advantage with the score at 7-3 going into the second quarter. In the second, the Chargers would begin to fire up and the Panthers would not seem to find a way to put out the flames, as the Chargers would score twice in the second bringing the score to 21-3 at halftime.
The Panthers wouldn’t score again until the fourth quarter, but would not be able to contain the Chargers who would score again in the third bringing the score to 28-3 going into the final quarter. The Panthers would fight back, but would ultimately fall to the Chargers 42-11.
The now 0-3 Panthers continue to strive for their first win of the season, as they take on the 2-1 Wayne Falcons on Friday in Corydon. Kick off is set to begin at 7pm.
