An organization in the community of Perry was recognized with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce made an appearance at Mary Rose Collective, 1215 Warford Street, to welcome them as a business partner. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti is the newer owner of the store, after she took it over from Mary Rose herself in 2023. Pasutti spoke outside of the store in front of a crowd as she admitted that Rose was the reason she moved to Perry in 2018.

There were between 25-35 people in attendance, including Mary Rose, and Pasutti’s parents. Mary Rose Collective is an art gallery that features work from over 60 Iowa artists.
