Perry football traveled to Ogden last night.  The Bluejays secured their second win of the season in the 23-6 defeat of the Bulldogs.  Perry was able to silence some demons after falling to Ogden the previous three years.  It was a low scoring first half.  That saw both teams fight for field position.  Ogden scored first with 4:44 to go in the second.  They missed the 2 point conversion making it 6-0.  Perry got on the board late in the second with a 40 yard TD pass Kenney to Drahos.  Perry missed the PAT.  6-6 tie at half.

The offense erupted for Perry in the second half.  Kenney scored on two 67 yard rushes and Gomes connected on a 21 yard field goal in our final 2 quarters.  Final 23-6.

Perry improves to 2-1 while Ogden moves to 0-3.  Next up for the Bluejays is Homecoming this upcoming Friday against Storm Lake.
