The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Cross Country Head Coach Steve Brown is satisfied with the amount of runners that are participating for the 2024-25 season.
Brown tells Raccoon Valley Radio that 26 girls are apart of the ADM Cross Country team this year, which is slightly less than previous years, but still positive numbers. He expresses that the 26 girls are dedicated to running for themselves and their teammates.
“They’re working really hard and have bought into the training and they support each other really well, so we’ve got a really good synergy going on among them that is helping a lot. They’ve done a great job of building a really positive culture and good work ethics.”
Brown is hopeful to be completely healthy soon prior to the third meet on Thursday. The Tigers garnered a second place finish in the opening meet at Johnston and a third place mark in their second meet this past Saturday in Pella.
ADM will be traveling to Ames to race 18 teams at Iowa State University, starting at 5:25pm.
