The West Central Valley Wildcat football team hosted the Shenandoah Mustangs last night and defeated the Mustangs 46-42. Both teams would keep one another at bay in the first quarter, keeping the score at 6-3 in the Mustangs favor. The back and forth would continue in the second quarter, with both teams scoring two touchdowns to end the first half, bringing the score to 20-17 in favor of Shenandoah. The Wildcats wouldn’t take the lead until the fourth quarter, and scored an impressive 22 points in the fourth quarter bringing the final score to 46-42.

The West Central Valley Wildcats now advanced to 2-0 after coming back to defeat the Shenandoah Mustangs. The Wildcats now prepare to host the Red Oak Tigers next week with the action set to begin at 7pm.
