Sept. 3 

Ryan Fowler, Newton, was driving in 13000 block of Austin Place when a bicycle ridden by Jacob Johnson, Waukee, ran into the side of the cement truck Mr. Fowler was driving.   Mr. Johnson was taken by private vehicle to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries.  Damage to Mr. Fowler’s truck was estimated at $500.  Mr. Johnson’s bike was totaled.

Jake Stratton, age 39, 710 NE Alices Road, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for Contempt Of Court.

Sept. 4

Matthew Casey, age 39, 501 W 5th St, Madrid, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Theft 3rd Degree.

A minor driver was driving on Dexfield Road and attempted to turn onto Bear Creek Rd , when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle into the ditch.  There were no injuries reported and damage was estimated at $5000.  The vehicle was towed privately.

Justin Huffman, age 41, 4701 Pleasant St, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation Terms.

Eduardo Aguilar, age 30, no address given, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sept. 5th

Zevin Turner, age 24, 712 13th St, West Des Moines, was arrested on warrants from another state.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
