The November Election is two months away, as there will be several contested races within Dallas County.

For county auditor, Democrat Robert Oller will be running against Republican Todd Halbur and the county attorney office is looking to fill a vacancy as Democrat Meggan Guns is facing Republican Matt Schultz. In the State Senate race for District 14, Dallas County Democrat incumbent Sarah Trone-Garriott and Republican Mark Hanson are facing off, then for State Representative District 28, it will be between incumbent Republican David Young and Democrat Laura Snider.

According to Dallas County Auditor Julia Helm, ballots are available now for people to request, and the first day that ballots may be mailed or voted on in the auditor’s office will be on October 16th. For more information, contact the Dallas County Auditor’s Office at (515)-993-6914.
