The Guthrie County Fair has passed the halfway point for 2024 and here’s a look of what is going on for the final two days.

Tomorrow the 4-H Food Stand will be open from 6am to 5pm, with the working dog competition beginning at 8am in the East Arena, and the antique tractor display will be going on at the south end of the fairgrounds from 8am to 5pm. Bucket/bottle calf interviews will take place at the 4-H/FFA Education Center from 9-11am, with the 4-H/FFA beef show in the show ring at 10am, followed by the open class show, and the J.R. Hodges Award will be announced at 11:30am.

The Guthrie County 4-H Foundation pie auction will take place at 11:40am, and Kile Jackson will be performing music from 11:30am to 1:30pm, with the American Legion Bingo Stand operating from noon until the fair closes for the night. The free carnival rides start up at 1pm and will keep going until 10pm, with the Laura Ernst Family Juggling and Aerial Show to take place in the Little Amphitheater at 2pm and 4pm.

Rabbit hopping will begin at 5pm in the 4-H/FFA Education Center, with nag race at the Grandstands starting at 5:30pm with free admission. The 2024 Guthrie County Fair Queen will be announced at 6pm at the Little Amphitheater at 6pm, and Tyler Richton and The High Bank Boys will perform at the Grandstands from 8-11pm.

On Monday, there will be a tractor ride beginning at 9am, with the 4-H/FFA parade of champions following at 9:30am, and the premium auction to follow that at 10. Also at 10am, 4-H/FFA static exhibits will be released for individuals to take home, all livestock will be released at 1pm, along with open class Art and Ag hall exhibits, and fair clean up begins at 3pm. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be on site tomorrow from 10am to 6pm, and on Monday from 10am to 3pm.
