A reminder that today is the last day the Jefferson Municipal Pool is open for the year and it is reserved for the dogs. 

Jefferson Parks and Rec Assistant Director Nathan Kral says the Doggie Swim Day is from 5:30-6:30pm. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio dogs that are up to date on vaccines can swim on the final day that the pool is open for the season. He reminds pet owners that they are responsible for their canine’s behavior and they must clean up after their pet. 

Free will donations will be accepted, but not required. Kral adds all donations will be given to the animal shelter in Jefferson.
