Perry cross country attended their first meet of the season on Thursday.  The Bluejays and Jayettes competed at the Southeast Valley Invite in Gowrie.  Perry was led by Lily Myers on the girls side s she finished in 10th place with a time of 21:41.93.  Taryn Nehring had the second quickest time for the Jayettes at 23:27.81.  That was good enough for 17th place.  The guys didn’t perform as well.  The top performer for the Bluejays was Aidan Carlson in 30th place with a time of 20:38.42. That began a sequence of four straight Bluejays Ivan Willett 31st 20:45.50, Edwyrd Steil 32nd 20:51.37, and Thad Stewart 33rd 20:54.71.

Cross country will return to action on Thursday for a coed meet at Madrid.
