A representative who is running for a democratic seat in the November election is holding an event in Perry tomorrow.

Democrat Joe Shelly is welcoming people to the Perry Perk Coffee Shop, 1201 Warford Street, tomorrow for an opportunity to introduce themselves, ask questions, and talk about the future of Perry. According to Campaign Manager Christina Guerrero, guests can volunteer to participate in door-knocking, place yard signs, and make phone calls to promote Shelly’s candidacy. 

Shelly, who is on the Perry City Council, is running for Iowa House District 47 against Representative Carter Nordman in the November election. Tomorrow’s event will begin at 2:30pm inside the coffee shop.
