The West Central Valley Wildcats traveled to Panora to take on the Panorama Panthers in the volleyball season opener but fell to the Panthers 3-1. The Wildcats battled hard, and even claimed a victory in one of the matches, but could not get the job done against the Panthers.

While the final score didn’t go the Wildcats way, West Central Valley did have 71 successful serves and 2 blocks against the Panthers. The Wildcats also had 116 kill attempts, showing that West Central Valley is attacking the ball once they get the opportunity.

Volleyball action continues for the West Central Valley Wildcats next week as they look at three outings. The Wildcats take on 13Van Meter on Tuesday at home with the action set to begin at 7PM.
