The Dallas Center-Grimes fall golf team found success in Johnston on Monday during the Dragon Invitational placing third, tied with Waukee Northwest with a score of 293 strokes.

In the 18 low final scores, Mustang freshman Chase Perrin placed fourth with a score of 71 strokes in 18 holes while sophomore Gavin Drake tied for sixth with 72 strokes. Perrin found success on all leaderboards, placing fourth in every category including 18 hole average, 18 hole adjusted average, and combined adjusted average.

The Mustang golf team looks to keep the momentum moving forward as they travel to the Legacy Golf Club in Waukee for the Waukee Northwest Invitational tomorrow.
