With August already half way over, fall sports are on the cusp of beginning as Wildcat volleyball at West Central Valley is set to begin on Thursday. The Wildcats will travel to Urbandale to the Des Moines Christian Main Gym for Woodward-Granger’s volleyball tournament. The schools competing include: ACGC, Des Moines Christian, Interstate 35. Ogden, Panorama, Pleasantville, Van Meter, and Woodward-Granger.

While this is not this is not the season opener, it is just one of two scrimmage events that the West Central Valley Wildcats have scheduled for this week. The Wildcats will also host the Madrid Tigers on Friday for Meet the Players night, were the cost of entry for the events will be a sports drink.

Thursday’s volleyball scrimmage action in Urbandale at the Des Moines Christian Main Gym is set to begin at 3PM.
