Perry football is looking to improve upon last year. First year head coach, Josh Vannornam, had the team put together 10 goals for the upcoming season. He shared some of those goals. “One goal example is higher attendance. Okay, how we gonna get higher attendance right so getting kids there making football fun making it interactive. Another good one what’s going to happen when adversity strikes. That’s when what happens when adversity strikes. So what happens like last year you know kids are getting nervous and scared about a game telling us so they don’t come to practice like that stuff can’t happen so that’s adversity when an obstacle is coming your way what are you going to do how are you going to respond so they want to respond better to those type of things.’ Those are just a couple ways the Bluejays want to improve in 2024. Last year Perry went 2-7. Coach Vannornam is hopeful to improve that record and see stats continue to improve compared to recent seasons. The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will have more goals from the Perry football team later this week.
