“At times we looked really good, and other times we saw where we have a lot of work to do,” said Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan when asked by Raccoon Valley Radio how Friday’s scrimmage at Ogden went. He added the positions where the Rams return little in the way of varsity experience looked like they were inexperienced. An emphasis has been placed on the running game for 2024 and the coach said the Rams have more than one talented running back and some size and experience on the offensive line.
In his years at Greene County, the coach has used both three and four person from lines. The Rams begin 2024 with a 4-3 look defensively.
The regular season starts this Friday with the Carroll Tigers visiting Linduska Field in Jefferson on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. with Football Friday night coverage at 6 o’clock.
