A Fort Dodge man recently died from a traffic-related crash in Greene County this past weekend.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says he and some deputies, along with Grand Junction Fire and Rescue and Greene County Ambulance responded to the single vehicle wreck at 12:45pm on Saturday, August 10th on U Avenue, near 210th Street. Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio that 75 year old Danny Klein Sr. of Fort Dodge was driving a 1992 Harley Davidson with a group of other motorcyclists, when Klein lost control of his Harley Davidson, entered the east ditch and hit a driveway. 

Williams says Klein died from the injuries he suffered and the motorcycle was a total loss. Williams adds this was the first traffic-related fatality in 2024 for Greene County.
