The Panora City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will consider for approval a tobacco permit for Dollar General, a water bill for 111 Southeast 8th Street and a commercial business request from NAPA Auto Parts regarding an exception to the ordinance on golf carts on city streets. They will also continue discussions regarding portable storage containers and adding a new chapter to City Code, disposition of the 1997 Ford Cargo street sweeper offer from Vander Haag’s Inc and purchase of a Virnig pick up broom, gutter brush and low-profile water tank for John Deere for $10,428.05. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm in the Council Chamber at City Hall. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available via GoToMeeting.
