A reminder that the finale of a summer series event in the City of Minburn is happening tonight.
The last Meet Me in Minburn concert series is tonight, featuring a free will donation meal and musical entertainment. Minburn Betterment Group Member Megan Cline tells Raccoon Valley Radio her favorite aspect of the event.
“Even now and then I take a minute, and whenever the artist is singing a familiar song that everyone really really gets into, and I look around and people are smiling and singing along and they just have that sunshine glow on their face of summer happiness and joy, and we’re in this small town with a big heart. In that moment, we’re just together enjoying a concert.”
Tonight’s musical entertainment is by Panora native Brick Imerman, and he’ll take the stage from 7-9pm. Prior to the concert, a free will donation meal of pork loin sandwiches will be served by the Minburn Fire Department, starting at 5:30pm. According to Cline, the skating rink will be available for those who’d like to bring a set of wheels to ride around.
The free event is taking place at Meek Park, 315 Baker Street, in Minburn and is open to the public.
