Two Perry men face felonies for allegedly sexually assaulting an Ankeny woman.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on July 25, 2023 where 22-year-old Alejandro Rios and 23-year-old Moses Tellez attended a party with the female victim. Following the party, the three went back to Tellez’s residence between midnight and 1:30am. Court documents state that unsolicited sex acts were performed by the two men on the victim, who was said to be intoxicated.
Simultaneously, Tellez recorded the incident to send to his friends on the social media app “Snapchat.” DNA samples from the suspects that was analyzed by the Iowa Criminalistics Laboratory matched the DNA on the samples from the victim’s sexual assault kit.
Tellez and Rios are charged with Class B Felonies of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree, along with two aggravated misdemeanors for Harassment 1st Degree and an Invasion of Privacy. Rios and Tellez are being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
