Susie Kundrat is a nationally-renown athletic dietitian and Michelle Book is the President and CEO of the Food Bank of Iowa are partnering together for an event on Saturday at Beaverdale Books in Des Moines to promoting Kundrat’s books, “Eat, Move, Groove” as a simple and easy to implement nutritious, healthy lifestyle with facing food insecurity. Kundrat is on a nation-wide book tour and is donating 22 percent of her book sales to food pantries and food insecurity efforts. The Saturday event in Des Moines will have those proceeds directed to the Food Bank of Iowa. Kundrat and Book are two Tower of Fame Awardees and Jefferson High School graduates.
