Now that we have entered the month of August, practices and camps begins on Monday at Dallas Center Grimes. Mustangs volleyball is less than a month away, as the Mustangs have their first volleyball action on Saturday, August 24th as they travel to Johnston for a scrimmage. DCG will face off against ADM, Boone, Indianola, Johnston, Newton, Norwalk, Urbandale, Waukee, Waukee Northwest and Winterset.

With the Johnston scrimmage serving to get the Mustangs in the feel for competition, Dallas Center-Grimes will then host four schools on Tuesday, August 27th for the first official match of the season. The Mustangs will host Ballard, Greene County, Mason City and Valley.
