The start of the Perry football season is just 4 weeks away.  The Bluejays will play one of the first games in the entire state as they open on Thursday, August 29th.  Perry travels to Des Moines Hoover to play at MediaCom Stadium to begin the year.  All eyes will be on this game as it will be the only high school game that night in the state.  Practice will begin on August 12 for the Bluejays as they prepare for the 2024 year.  Perry will be breaking in a first year Head Coach, Josh Vannornam.  The Bluejays are coming off a 2-7 campaign.  All football season long you can tune into Today’s News and Yesterday’s Music 94.3, 99.7, and AM 1310 KDLS for the coverage.
