A sophomore from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team secures a spot for all conference.

Ellis Smith is another recipient on ADM to be apart of the 2nd Team All Conference for softball following a wonderful season. Smith played in 40 games during the 2024 season with 104 at-bats, scoring 23 runs off of 30 hits. She racked up 25 singles, four doubles, one triple, and 16 RBI’s, hitting an average of .288.

Smith had two stolen base attempts and was successful on both tries. She was positioned at short stop for much of the year where she had 32 assists, 56 putouts and committed 10 errors throughout the season. Smith’s older sister, Cameran, just graduated as they played together the last few years, and Ellis is anticipating another great run in 2025 as a junior.
