Perry High School relies on multisport athletes to be competitive in each sport’s season.  This current week off is a great chance for them to step back and take a break from competitions and working out.  Perry AD, Tina Lutterman, likes the break.  “It does make it a little bit tedious when you have practice followed by more practice.  Just to have that break it’s just needed for their well-being and they’re just a step away from the competing for a while.  I think is good just refreshing to come back when you’re rested up a little bit.”

Perry like the rest of the state will be off until August 4.  Open gyms and workouts are allowed to resume on August 5.  Fall practices will then begin on August 12.  Perry will begin cross country, volleyball, football, and swimming practice on that day.
