A local business in Perry known for selling delicious treats, was welcomed into the chamber of commerce Friday afternoon.

The chamber held a ribbon cutting at MC Snacks to give recognition to the organization. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti started by thanking the crowd of supporters for coming out. She commented that MC Snacks has been apart of the chamber for the last year but just had a scheduling conflict for a ribbon cutting. 

MC Snacks Co-Owner Christina Silva introduced her partner Miriam Cruz and felt grateful to be able to join the chamber. Silva mentions that MC Snacks has been open for the last four years seasonally from May to mid-October from 4-8pm Wednesdays through Sundays. MC Snacks is located along the Raccoon River Valley Trail at Caboose Park, 1101 1st Street, in Perry.
