The site and time have been changed for the Region 1 Class 3A softball final on Monday between Greene County and Sioux Center. The game that sends the winning team to the State Tournament July 21-25  will now be at 5:30 p.m. in Battle Creek. The contest originally was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Le Mars, but the change was made late Saturday afternoon.

The Rams are 25-7 and unranked while Sioux Center is 26-3 and ranked fourth. Both teams were second in their respective conferences; Greene County in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference and Sioux Center in the Siouxland Conference.
