The softball season has concluded for the Jayettes.  Perry was eliminated in the Regional Championship by DCG.  Tina Lutterman has sent in her resignation as coach.  She has also had time to reflect on her last year.  “Some of our goals finish in the top half of the conference and that was one that we attained and we also wanted to finish the season with 10 wins which was more than we were able to get last year and we attained that one as well so all in all I feel like we had a great season.”  She also shared some of her favorite memories from this season.  “Tina Kanealy pinch hit homerun really stands out that was a big moment for her and win.  I’m happy for her for that.  Also, I want to point out Sydney Barkley for that great catch she had in the Regional Final that just shows that she never gave up and we were continuing to get better all the way through the season.”

Tina Lutterman has stepped down following 15 years and the search is on to replace her as Perry softball coach.
