The City of Perry is engaging in a waste drop-off program this Saturday.
The city announces that residents can assist in the Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Saturday morning from 9am-noon. People are encouraged to bring materials like old paint, batteries, cleaning chemicals, and other hazardous items to the police station/fire department parking lot, 908 Willis Avenue, in Perry.
According to the city, during the waste drop-off, there will be 50 gas cans to give away on a first come, first serve basis. At the same time, the city is allowing individuals to bring up to five tires for free disposal at the Perry Recycle Center, 14826 Ivy Place.
