A reminder of a useful app for those that like to hunt or fish.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has a free app that individuals can download. DNR Conservation Officer Jeremy King says that “Go Outdoors IA” is very helpful not only for the residents of Iowa, but for the DNR as well. He mentions that people are able to purchase and keep track of their licenses through the app. This allows individuals to keep a digital version of their license with them, in case they forget the physical copy at home.

King mentions that the app has even more to it, like regulations for fishing and hunting, a list of sunset and sunrise times and registration for when a deer is harvested. He adds that it also includes regulations for boating and off-highway vehicles, information for wildlife watching, and information besides regulations for fishing and hunting like atlases showing public locations for both.
