The Adair County Fair continues with fun events tomorrow.

There is a free 4-H/FFA breakfast sponsored by Agriland FS at the foodstand at 7am, and beginning at 8am there will be registration for the open fun jackpot horse show at the horse arena, the dairy/dairy goat show at the swine show ring, and the cat show at the gazebo. At 8:30am the junior feeder calf pen show and cow/calf pen show will take place at the pens by the scale.

Starting at 9am, Bear Grove Chainsaw Carving will begin their first performance of the day in the courtyard, the open fun jackpot horse show will take place in the horse arena, and feeder calves must be on the fairgrounds. The breeding heifer, lead cow/calf and feeder calf shows will begin at 9:30am at the Mid-American Arena, while the baby show takes place in the 4-H/FFA Center beginning at 10am, along with a succulents “make and take” at the Varied Industries Building.

From 10am to noon there will be a popsicle stick photo frame, paper flowers and dreamcatcher “make and take” also at the Varied Industries Building, along with hands on farm activities from 10am to 2pm and the quilt show from 10am to 5pm. Face painting will be available in the courtyard from 10am to 4pm, with the pedal pull in front of the 4-H/FFA Center beginning at 11:30am, and at noon the second chainsaw carving show will begin in the courtyard, and the junior and senior cowgirl queen contest will take place in the horse arena.

The market beef and beef showmanship events will take place in the Mid-American Arena at 1pm, and the 4-H/FFA Communications events will be at 1:30pm at the 4-H/FFA Events Center, along with the extemporaneous speaking, educational presentations and working exhibits. The supreme showman contests for beef, sheep, goats and swine will be in the Mid-American Arena following the beef show, with registration for the livestock judging contest at 4:30pm and the contest itself beginning at 5pm in the Mid-American Arena.

Also at 5pm, there will be the pie in the face fundraiser hosted by the Adair County Youth Council, then from 6-7:30pm there will be yard games in the courtyard. The grandstand event for the night is a demolition derby, with admission prices set at $10 for adults and $5 for children aged five to twelve years old.
