The Perry Chamber is excited to bring back a fun event happening soon.

The chamber will be hosting their Third Annual Second Street Block Party in Perry next Friday, July 19th. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says that there is live musical entertainment by Oreo Meatwagon Trio, who is a cover band with hits from the 1970s to today’s music. Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this dance offers a unique experience compared to other chamber events.

“Come on out and enjoy a fun night downtown and a different atmosphere than Friday Fest with the lawn chairs and really casual in the park and kids running around, this is a street dance.”

Pasutti emphasizes that the dance is tailored for adults ages 21 and older as there will be a beer garden available for guests. The cost of admission is $5 and will benefit the Perry Chamber. Pasutti notes that the dance will occur in the area of 2nd Street between Warford Street and Lucinda Street from 5-10pm.
