The Stuart Public Library is excited for a special version of one of their regular events.

Library Director Lisa Sherman says that for this month’s Books and Badges with Stuart Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger, the theme is Christmas in July. She invites all youth to the program on Thursday.

“You know, Sergeant Katie likes to be very generous with the little ones and their siblings, so we expect a really good turnout for that. Again, Christmas in July. You can come visit and you could even wear your Christmas outfit.”

Sherman mentions that this month’s Books and Badges will be on Thursday beginning at 10am at the library. She adds that there may even be a visit from everyone’s favorite Christmas grump, the Grinch.
