A unique event for Panora youth is coming back to Panorama Days this year.

Registrations are now being accepted for the Kids Fishing Derby to be held at the Lake Panorama marina on Sunday morning, August 3rd.  The lake’s Fin & Feather Group is sponsoring this year’s derby so there is no cost to participate.

The derby will consist of four age groups, and any area kids aged three to 13 are invited to sign-up.  There will be a winner in each age group for the biggest fish, smallest fish and the most fish caught.

Fin & Feather says all that participants need to bring for the derby is their own fishing pole, as bait and tackle gear will be provided.

Registrations for the event can be picked up at the Panorama Marina, or sign-ups can be completed the day of the event starting at 9am on August 3rd.
