The Perry Parks and Recreation is looking for volunteers to help with the pool this summer.

The organization is asking for employees to be part time lifeguards. The Perry Parks & Rec outlines that participants must be at least 15 years old by July 31st, and have to pass a swim test. The test consists of 300 meters of either freestyle or breaststroke, being able to tread water for two minutes, and a brick retrieval. 

According to Perry Parks & Rec, volunteers must be willing and able to work evenings and occasional weekends. Those that are interested should contact Aquatics Director Ben Fleming by emailing ben.fleming@perryia.org or call (515)-465-5621.
