The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board tabled a decision on the Guthrie County Compensation Board to review new policy changes about compensation boards. They also approved a 28E agreement for the Guthrie County First Responders Association, pending a review by the county attorney.

The Board then heard from Veterans Affairs Coordinator Beth Watson on her quarterly report, and approved looking for a new representative for the VA Commision Board. The bulk of the meeting was spent discussing emergency medical services coverage districts, with the Board approving a draft map as presented with room for negotiations, and to enter negotiations with the three service providers that they would be working with along with Bear Grove and Jackson Townships to see which service they would prefer, as there is the possibility that more than one service can cover them. Also approved was to have a special session July 10th at 7pm between decision making representatives of all entities to begin talks.

The Board also approved resolutions pertaining to county employee salaries and wages retroactive forJuly 1st, authorizing County Auditor Dani Fink to issue payroll checks without prior approval from the Board, authorizing the periodic transfer of funds from the county general supplemental fund to the Adiar and Guthrie County Emergency Management Commission Fund and authorizing the periodic transfer of funds from the county rural services fund to the county secondary roads fund.
