Minburn American Legion is sponsoring its annual pie contest and auction on July 4th.  Cash prizes will be awarded to first and second place winners in each of four categories and all bakers are welcome to enter.  Pies must be delivered to the Minburn Legion Hall between the hours of 8 AM and 12 Noon on July 4th.  Prize winners will be announced at 7 PM at Minburn Meek Park just prior to the pie auction on July 4th. Local businesses and patrons are welcome to bid on the pies, with the proceeds going to support veterans and their families as well as veterans’ programs and community projects.
